LIFE SAVING @ MORNINGTON LSC

Mornington LSC is a member of Life Saving Victoria, the state-level organisation of Surf Life Saving Australia.

As part of this organisation, we patrol our beaches every weekend and public holiday from November through to Easter, with the exception of Christmas Day.

All of our patrol members are volunteers, and we warmly welcome and encourage new members to join our patrol team.

Members aged 13–14 who wish to compete in junior carnivals must obtain their Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) and become active patrolling members of the club. Members aged 15 and above who wish to compete at carnivals must obtain their Bronze Medallion and also become active patrol members.

Of course, many of our active patrolling members choose not to compete in carnivals.
