Orca Swim for a Suit (approx. 500m)

Mornington Life Saving Club will hold our annual Twilight Swim at Mills beach again in 2020. This swim we are excited to be partnered again with the Cousins Travel Open Water Series providing another option on the Peninsula for Series entrants.  \

We have also enhanced our registration process coupling with Register Now to provide a quick and easy registration.

This swim is the only Twilight swim on the calendar and going by our increased numbers last year is proving to be a favourite amongst swimmers.

Events

We will have 4 events on offer...

1.2km swim

The ever popular 1.2km swim is back in a fast out and back course. This event is offered in 10 year age groups and prizes will be given to the 1st , 2nd and 3rd male and female winners of each age group.

Quinn Power 400m

We also have the 400m Nipper/Novice swim for those swimmers looking for a smaller distance and a prize is given to the male and female winner.

Orca Swim for a Suit (approx. 500m)

For the super fish we have the new Orca 'swim for a suit'; a splash and dash 500m event added to the night.  The first male and female to cross the line will receive a new Orca wetsuit. Make sure you don’t miss this!

All place getters in the 1.2k event get a free entry to the Orca Swim. For any swimmers who pay for both prior to the event will be reimbursed.

Those swimmers entered into the 1.2km and Orca events will receive a free event t-shirt as part of their entry fee.  For those swimmers entered in the Quinn Power 400 you can also purchase a t-shirt online with your registration.  Additional t-shirts can be purchased on the night, although sizes cannot be guaranteed.

STAY AROUND AFTER YOUR SWIM

When you have finished swimming - why don't you stick around for a night on the beach to soak up the atmosphere. We thank our fabulous sponsors Bay Events who support us on the night with marquees and blow up chairs on the sand to lay around and relax.

We have a DJ pumping out Friday night tunes with a BBQ, Bar and Kiosk open for a fun, relaxing night out.

Bring your swim club along and set up a marquee for a gorgeous night on Mills beach.
